“My body knows how to calm itself, and I let it.”
Capability, not command, is what this line offers. It does not tell the body to calm down. It states that the body already "knows how," which shifts the whole task from effort to permission. "Let it" is the only verb aimed at you, and it is a small one. Getting in the way is usually the easier mistake to make, so being asked to simply allow something is lighter than being asked to produce it.
