Daily Affirmation Statements ("this site," "we") is a free content site publishing daily affirmations by category. This policy explains what information we collect and how it's used.
If you sign up for the daily email list, we collect your email address (and name, if a contact form is used). We don't collect any other personal information, and we don't require an account to read any affirmation on the site.
Your email is used only to send the daily affirmation email you signed up for, and occasional updates about new categories or content. We don't sell, rent, or share your email with third parties for their own marketing.
This site uses Google Analytics 4 to measure how it is used: which pages people read, roughly where in the world they are, and whether they arrived from a search engine or a link. It tells us that a page was read. It does not tell us who read it.
Analytics cookies are switched off until you accept them. When you first arrive you will see a short banner with an Accept button and a Reject button. Until you choose Accept, Google's tag runs in a restricted mode that sets no cookies and cannot recognise you on a later visit. Rejecting costs you nothing: every affirmation, article and email on this site works exactly the same either way.
You can change your mind at any time using the Cookie Settings link at the bottom of any page. Your choice is remembered in your browser's local storage, not in a cookie, and clearing your browser data resets it.
Google processes this data as our service provider, and may do so outside the UK. Google's own explanation of how it handles data from sites that use its services is at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
This site uses Google AdSense to display advertisements. When you accept cookies, Google may use advertising cookies to show ads based on your browsing activity. When you reject cookies, ads are still shown but are not personalised. Google's partners may also collect data — see Google's partner policy for details.
Every email includes an unsubscribe link. You can accept or reject analytics cookies at any time using the Cookie Settings link in the footer. To request a copy of your data or have it deleted, use the contact page.
If this policy changes, the "last updated" date above will change too. Continued use of the site after an update means you accept the revised policy.
This policy is written in plain English rather than by a solicitor, and it is not legal advice. Worth having it reviewed properly.
